I seem to be stuck with cold ever since I got out the hospital and can’t get rid of it for some odd reason. I never had this problem before getting over cold. The New year is almost here and have two new doctors to see coming up in a few weeks. One is for my headaches I was getting all the time. I don’t get them as much right now, which is a good thing. But after doing more searching about my disease and learning about why I could be having headaches everyday. I learn something that I didn’t know that it could be cause of a tumor. Since I’m the only one in my house hold with my illness, its good for me to study on it and learn as much as possible. You do know with seen the different doctors I do have, they never mention anything about me having tumors. I don’t know if that a good thing or bad thing, part of me make me think they don’t believe it could be that serious for me and then other is they probably know I can’t handle no more awful news. Also the other doctor appointment is about why I have so many antibodies in my body. Since its hard to find my blood type, I like to say thank you to each and every one of you whose been praying for me and still praying for me and who donates blood or know someone who does. Last time it didn’t take long to find my blood type. I was so happy! I was just in the hospital that long because of a slow ignorant doctor. Seem like he don’t know how to talk to a lot of people’s, and think people s have to take his lip and attitude. Thats a negative! Hey my mouth is working process. I had a good Christmas, wasn’t down in my body or stuck in hospital, did have a doctor appointment before Christmas. It went sorta good and sorta not. Yay for getting took off one medicine and boo for getting put on a new one that suppose to be better for my headaches. If you don’t take medication on every day basic, you or truly bless, and don’t ever take it for granted. If some had read up on my disease because I havent made it back to do all that good stuff. That post should be up sometimes this week. Different ones with my disease can take the medicine to help them have less crisis, but to be honest I never really needed it before I got put on it when I was younger and it didn’t;t agree with me. I almost died in 06, so that’s when I got introduce hydroxyurea. I usually take Folic Acid, that been working for me every sense well shoo forever. Seem like I’m everywhere with my post today. I’m pretty sure more to come this week, hate to bore all of yall in one post. 🙂
I do love all my followers, you have truly been a BLESSING to me on my JOURNEY, can’t wait to see how 2012 goes for us. My friend you and I should email some time so I can get a better sense of your specific illness issues and begin speaking over those things, I feel my prayers are just not specific enough, I know God Knows where you are and what’s going on but He gave us humans the GIFT to heal one another if we could just figure out how to use it. Jesus did. He healed people without even being face to face with them…anyway, I love all your posts, even the ones you think are boring! Getting to know you is far from boring. I have been debating about making a post just for what exactly Sickle Cell Anemia is but I believe I been here long enough and since I talk about it, its time to make a entry just for it so peoples wont be confuse about exactly what it is and what I’m going through. I’m glad to hear about my post not been boring to you. Seem the little ones keeping aunting busy right now so it seem like I been responding to you every since you left me a message. soon as I get time, I plan on emailing you tonight. Yes he did heal people without been face to face, thats what im strong believer when Im in hospital and ya’ll or praying for me. That is the reason you should not settle with one doctor’s opinion. When I was battling my illness I went through 5 doctors before I finally found one who helped me. I was taking medication that caused multiple side effects that none of the other doctors told me about.

You so right, can’t count on the doctors and medicine for anything. My life is in GOD hand. Wow I hate the side effect of the different medication they try and put me on. If it was upto me I was just pray about it and keep it moving and not take anything. But I do take one medicine that I have been taking since I was younger. THe other medicines or for decoration on my dresser to be honest. I’m not big on pain medicine to most peoples get addicted on. I take over the counter tat actully do something. If I’m in a lot of pain, then I move to something stronger. Honestly I dont believe they know as much as they would like for us to think. As my dad says to pray, don’t count on the medicine. I pray a lot but sometimes when the pain is unbearable thats when I know its time to go to hospital. Dont really do doctors unless I have check up appointments, or to check my blood count. I probably left something out of my comment..

I’ve been so busy today and now I’m finally back after all the festivities and also recovering from a cold as well. I am glad that you didn’t have to spend Christmas in hospital at all. God is definitely true and He is the one the guides your everyday with your palm in His hand. Each day is a daily work and I’m so blessed to know you and I still feel like I’m getting to know you more and more as you help us understand the disease. You are always in my prayers and I pray that God continues to keep you and will heal you from all your afflictions. May Angels come as doctors to aide you and may the blood you need not be hindered by anything or anyone. Poeticj, you could never bore me. So sad that you have had to tolerate less-gifted physicians. So glad you have the Great Physician holding your hand all day, all night, always. Folic acid is simply wonderful, praise God. Have you done any research on herbal medicine’s benefits? They do not conflict with prescribed medications and often help with such trials as those headaches of yours. Boswellia and tumeric (also can be used in cooking, especially East Indian dishes) have helped me a lot. I am praying for you to receive relief from your headaches RIGHT NOW!

Granbee, glad to hear I could never bore you. Thank God for having him take care of me, his the BeST of the BEST! Yes, it does wonders, took me awhile to get use to taking it when I was younger since I wasnt so big on taking medicine. It was rough when yu was living and doing good for so long and you didnt know you had anything to you got sick and felt like my world had crumble all around me. So glad to know I wasn’t alone through all that, GOD was right there with me. No I never tried or consider herbal medicine do they work? You have bad headaches or have had them at times?

I’m completely with Granbee on this one: Homeopathic, Ayurvedic, Herbal, Alternative, Spiritual (etc.,) can all help with our physical conditions and don’t usually interfere with any traditional routes of medicine. See what you are drawn to, reach out, and someone will have an answer for you to point you in the right direction. I am also a firm believer in searching for the emotional/energetic blockages associated with the diseases and conditions we have in our bodies – the things you uncover can be amazing and enlightening.

Awww sorry to hear you have not fully recover yet. I still have myy cold but not as bad as it was after I got home from the hospital. I do hope you get well soon, and yes a lot of peoples where I’m from is getting sick. God Bless You 🙂
