My Life

How can I speak…

when I’m only one

person…

You seem to look…

at me crazy…

Cause of the pain..

and you don’t understand…

Yes,

I’m one in a million…

So many of us or losing..

the fight…

So thankful for the one..

who fought with me..

You may not hear me…

But I know many hear me..

and join me to fight for our..

rights..

Do you hear me?

I hate to yell but hell..

my pain is that intense…

NO act..

over here..

We want Justices…

done…

We tired of been

mistreated..

some die in pain…

because of the abuse from

the one’s…

who supposed to help us..

Do that make you all happy?

see so many dying?

Technical I’m not finish with it but wanted to get it up, while I have the time and strength to share. I wanted to share it last month, since it was Sickle Cell Awareness Month. But you all know its every day for me… Do enjoy and let me know what you think.  The poem says a lot, so many sickle cell warriors have died this year. We don’t have it easy when we go to E.R/hospital. Since so many don’t know what it is or what we go through. We get sent home in pain or mistreated while been in hospital. I know you all have read a few of my post, and know I had could not so good nurses and doctors. I’m praying for cure for us.

Day 1-3, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

Hey Welcome to my World!  I Had to make a trip to hospital. Monday I came and got fluids and meds,  find out I was dehydrated.  I take it Tuesday must got the best out of me. Rain isn’t good for me. I woke up Wednesday morning in pain from head to toe. You can only imagine how I was feeling at the time. I hate coming to E.R you always got to wait forever and a day. Doesn’t matter how early you come in. I had bad experience Monday when I came in. The guy half did his job, and four people that got here after I did. I’m wondering wdh going on.

My count is dropping slowly.I’m still in pain, but not as bad as it was when I came in Wednesday. Be a lovely thing if I had no pain whatsoever.  What dis cruel world coming to. 8 year ole find dead in ditch with nothing on. So many people trying come to terms with such heartbreaking news.  Praying for the family. Well believe I cut it short, pain and sleep. I pray all is well with you all. God Bless

Update

thumbnailSCDHey World,

Its been awhile since I been able to post and just enjoy blogging.  So since September come in, I have been loving the fact its my month to bring awareness about sickle cell. I’m on Facebook a lot and in many groups dealing with my illness. Seems so many our the warriors have died. I had got to the point of why am I fighting when we get treated so poorly when we go to er. That be another post for another time. I hope to share some stuff through the month about some of the things  and so many other go through.  My doctor appoint on Tuesday went very well, my blood count is highest it ever been. I haven’t been transfuse since early June. Don’t even get me started on that hospital stay and how many times it took before they took me serious about my pain. Even though counts r good, can’t say the same about my headaches, they have got worse. Lets just say I’m taking more meds to get them in check. I’m trying to stay on top of them and not get ct scan. It could mean many things. Another post later down the road. I had eye appoint  last month, it went so so. they have to stay on top of them. I’m on eye drops  and have to wear glasses. I’m nearsighted big time Sorry to make the post so long, but its been awhile since I posted and wanted to do mini update.

I’m hoping to visit many blogs over the weekend.

Day 1-2, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

Good Evening, another Bless day. As I mention in last post, I ended up coming to er, and yep stuck here. Feeling much better then I was. I’m praying for a test to come back with good news, so I can stay off my steroids. Its bad enough I have to take meds every day. Must admit, I have had some good nurses. Can’t say nothing negative about them. Makes me wonder if they got there act together since I haven’t been here in awhile. I must admit I prefer to have male nurses. They so sweet, and cute as well. I’m hoping to make did short visit. Got me on oxygen, fluids, and of course pain meds. Guess what I saw my doctor. Hmm is all I can say. Got some x-rays done to see what’s going on. I have been in pain for three weeks, praying and hoping it go away on its own. Soon as I get information , I’ll share with you, when I get time and feeling strong enough to share. Thank you for the prayers, comments, as well as like, truly means a lot. God bless
