Good Evening,

Welcome to my world. I havent been feeling my best for about week now. Im currently in hospital. This has been my third time over the past few days.. I’m having trouble with my legs. I probably should’ve stayed Thursday when I came in, but I didn’t want be in hospital for Easter. Lesson learn, I have bn admitted since last night. I’m waiting to see how my counts looking. Thursdays it was 8.6 and retic was 11. I did have a good Easter with my family. I actually was in good spirits.. no pain so I thought I was getting better. I didn’t get put in my room till after midnight.I was hoping to go dis week without bn admitted. My primary doc is closed to Wednesday. I cant deal with being miserble that long. Going try and get me some rest. Hope all is well with you all. Ill try and keep you posted. God Bless

Hello World,

I have bn feeling bad since yesterday. I don’t know what’s going on. I thought about going to hospital but truly tired of seen inside of hospital and doctors. Having trouble trying get comfortable so I can sleep. My left side is giving me a lot of trouble. I have bn getting plenty rest for the past two days, sad to say that’s all I bn wanting to do to be honest. I’m feeling much better then I was. I haven’t bn in the mood write or post much. I have bn reading some of y’all blogs when I had the energry. We bn getting rain for the past few days. Actually got really bad last night. Sorta have update in dis post. I pray all is well with each and everyone of you all. God Bless

Hello World,

I’m late with sharing how I’m doing. I have bn resting and trying recovery. I have bn doing a lot of writing. Dis post will be short till I’m at my best to do a update. I have doc appointment Monday. I may then do update then. My counts was holding it’s on I think. A lot has bn going on so I can’t remember if it was or not. Already dealing with fevers and nausea and vomiting. Which I’m not happy about it. So last night was rough had allergic reaction to something. I didn’t get much sleep. So hoping tonight I succeed.

Hello World,

Yesterday I got the word I could go home. I got paperwork on having pneumonia. I’m hoping and praying I’m cleared of it all. I’m not feeling my best, I’m hoping it all past soon. All I want to do is sleep and that’s all I plan on doing. I’m so thankful for all the prayers and comments, truly means a lot to me. I hope to have a update post soon as I’m 100%. Am I really living? Came to conclusion Im not. I have stop doing the things I love. I have stop moving to my frustration to be better. I realize its time get out my comfort zone! Enough is enough. If we dont live now , we wont
be able live later

Just wanted share some thoughts that bn on my mind lately. Stop letting stuff hold you down. Release anchor from your life and live.

Day 3, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

Hey peeps, welcome to my world! It has being hella hectic for me since weather hasn’t bn good to me. I was just in hospital last week and got out Sunday, and hello back th’s following week. I’m so ready for Spring! I’m in process of meeting with pain management doctor soon. I see my sickle cell doctor dis week. Haven’t seen him in months, was need to get my crisis under wraps. I’m at the point I need drop my primary doctor a.s.a p. Dont want to stress about it while recovering. I’m Praying I don’t have see inside hospital unless it’s for blood work or surgery. Pray all is well with each and everyone of you all. I got Bless with some good doctors and nurses. Remember I said doctor, I go to the other hospital that my doctor not connected with..Thank GOD. I’ll end post here so I can get some rest. But before I do, count is up, oxygen strong, so it blood pressure, pulse. GOD is truly good. Lil pain not as bad as it was:)

Hello and welcome to my World! I have been in and out of hospital for past few weeks. Back in school so That’s taking up my time, but I’m praying to get back on top of blogging and visiting with you all. The first time in hospital was short stay, blood pressure kept dropping while I was sleeping. Second time was last week of October, seem I have warm antibodies again, and I haven’t had transfusion in awhile. Idk what’s going on, but I’m happy they not putting me on steroids for now. It would do more danger them anything. I have to have surgery in right arm down road. Blood count was dropping. But no to to transfusion. I had good nurses… got favorite male nurse, name Denny, such a sweetie. GOD truly bless me with lovely and caring nurses. Had good female nurses as well. My favorite was Nikki:) good doctor as well. I have miss reading y’all blogs and hearing from you all. I pray all is well with each and everyone of you

I have some good news to share, where should I start. Yesterday I got okay come home or stay another night cause of xray of my arm. Must say blood test came back false, no steroids. I’m so excited! God is truly good:) maybe later on u have to have another xray to make sure I don’t need surgery. I must admit hip surgery is more for me then shoulder! It won’t be long post. I did enjoy seen my lil lady, not happy on
cold weather. I’m praying I don’t have set back. Hope all is well with each and everyone of you all 🙂

Day 4-6, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

Hey and welcome to my world. I must say I’m not home yet, which I had got my hopes up on going home. I’m praying for tomorrow. Still in some pain, but not as bad as when I got admitted. So thankful for all the comments and prayers, truly touch my heart:) blood count came back up on its own, and guess what dropping slowly but surely. I have to be put back on steroids, and nope not happy about it. If I don’t take them it could do more harm then anything, but honestly I believe it make me sick at same time. I hope I can get some rest in a few. I believe I shall wrap it up and try get comfortable. I have had some good nurses dis time around, which is a plus. I hope all is well with each and everyone of you all. God Bless

Hey World,

Its been awhile since I been able to post and just enjoy blogging. So since September come in, I have been loving the fact its my month to bring awareness about sickle cell. I’m on Facebook a lot and in many groups dealing with my illness. Seems so many our the warriors have died. I had got to the point of why am I fighting when we get treated so poorly when we go to er. That be another post for another time. I hope to share some stuff through the month about some of the things and so many other go through. My doctor appoint on Tuesday went very well, my blood count is highest it ever been. I haven’t been transfuse since early June. Don’t even get me started on that hospital stay and how many times it took before they took me serious about my pain. Even though counts r good, can’t say the same about my headaches, they have got worse. Lets just say I’m taking more meds to get them in check. I’m trying to stay on top of them and not get ct scan. It could mean many things. Another post later down the road. I had eye appoint last month, it went so so. they have to stay on top of them. I’m on eye drops and have to wear glasses. I’m nearsighted big time Sorry to make the post so long, but its been awhile since I posted and wanted to do mini update.

I’m hoping to visit many blogs over the weekend.
