Some may think
Im addict
Im not Feenin
For drugs
Im Feenin
For nomore pain
My scars
Tells a story
Of me fighting
Sickle Cell Disease
My life
Is not yours
God gave me
This life
To share it and hopefully
Educate the World
On my illness
My scars

I have shared this poem before and wanted to share it once again. This month is sickle cell awareness month. With so many of us dying each and every day. I had to the need to share it one more.
