Ups & Downs

Up & Down

Down & Up

My body can’t make up its mind

to stay on the up and up

Telling myself not to stress

and make it worse

Transfusion was pointless

blood pressure

playing with me

All I want to do is scream

That wouldn’t help me any

Up & Down

Down & Up

What’s really going on

Is my body betraying me

running through my mind

Up & Down

Down & Up

So much was going through my head at the time I wrote this poem, actually did it while I was in hospital. I Thank God he didn’t leave my side, through all this. I’m truly Bless, I don’t know how much I can say that. Do Enjoy! God Bless 🙂

Not sure if I like the title, just yet. Still working process, do let me know what you all think!

  1. This was such a good poem, of exactly how you were feeling in the hospital. You described it all so well PJ, it makes me sad you have to go through these things. I will continue praying for you to be well, for the blood counts and all to keep in the right direction. I am so thankful God never left your side while you were dealing with this horrible long week! As for the title, how about Ups and Downs? It what it was, but you will decide on the best title sweetie. Also the kind readers may have some input for the title, too. I am just so happy you are back home now, it’s the best place to be and Little Lady will no doubt agree! 🙂 The rest of the family, too of course but you have such a special bond with Little Lady. 🙂 Sorry for these long comments, what a surprise like I rarely leave short ones, do I? 🙂 Stay well, prayers will keep on rolling PJ! 🙂

      I do love all your long comments, bring smile to my face. I actually thought about naming it that! I might go back and just call it that! Yea they glad I’m home, so they can drive me all so crazy! 🙂 I had to get rid of little lady lastnight so I could get some sleep! I was sleep by 6 lastnight! A way to spend Valentine! I tend to put all my emotions in my work when I don’t feel like talking. So I’m glad you could sense it. I do hope all is on your end. God Bless 🙂
