Laying In Bed

Laying In bed

tossing & turning

Trying to get right

Laying quietly in

my room

I heard babies crying,

while some are playing.

Poor littles one in pain

Pain so intense

I couldn’t sleep.

Praying just to get

some Zzzz’s

I.V in  sore spot

driving me crazy

As my pain intense

so does the I.V

Laying in bed

Tossing & Turning

Thanking

GOD

 for never leaving me!

Morning came

new nurses arrived

he showed me to never

lose FAITH

Laying in bed

oxygen on point

blood pressure

not looking so good

Tossing & Turning

praying to be able to

go home soon and

be pain-free

As you can see I had a lot on my mind. I know for a fact I will be adding more to it, if I don’t get to busy with homework.

I blog for many reasons, the love of writing, to inspire and touch someone life. No matter what I'm going through in my life. It's a get away when my SC becomes to much for me to handle. I love to get carry away in MY WORLD! I'm on a JOURNEY to discover myself. God Bless! :)

  1. This is such a good poem.Very heartbreaking to think of you in pain and in the hospital though PJ. God is good, he was right there with you all the time. 🙂

  2. So amazing you can create poetry from such immediate physical pain. Wonderful prayer warrior you are, journey. You have qualities of the prophetess Deborah who also co-captained the Israeli armies way back when!

    1. Granbee,

Thank you for your lovely comment! I had a lot going on while been in the hospital, just didn’t know how to put it into words at that time. Oh wow you really think so? God Bless 🙂
