Living With Sickle Cell Anemia
Hey Welcome to my world! I’m home and doing good! I have little doubt and fear in back of my head since I wasn’t supposed get transfusion, but then again I wouldn’t be among the living! Will praying for the best! I know my God got me! My blood count was a 9, after I got blood, it drop to 7.2, before I came home it went back up 7.9! God is good 🙂 I’m still on my steroids, I maybe on them longer, since I received blood against all odds! I’m looking into new primary doctor, I made my mind up on new hospital from now on! I’m touch by all your love and prayers, comments 🙂 it has been 6 months 4 days since my hip surgery 🙂

Day 6-7, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia
Hello and Welcome to my World! I’m hoping to be set free tomorrow! I’m feeling much better then I was last Monday when I arrived. I pretty much got update on everything, I wanted to know what the problem was that put me in here. I actually went two different hospitals. The first one wouldn’t admitted me because of how my count was looking the same as when I was in hospital the first time. But umm lets be honest if that was the case I wouldn’t been put in hospital later that evening. I’m at the point I may need to find new primary doctor,cause I even made call to office before I went to hospital number 2! So with that been said, ill be getting retested in morning on my labs. Right now with the two units of blood, I’m at 9 :-), which is good in my book! I’m still little worry cause I made decision against all odds! I know God got me! I have met a lot of amazing nurses/doctors. Thank for all the prayers, comments, likes. Truly meant a lot! God Bless

So many fighting diseases behind
Close doors…
Breaks my heart to hear
So many losing the battle…
You see our smile,
But not know our pain..
Fighting to live..
Holding back tears
So many warriors dying
From sickle cell, lupus, ms, cancer
And so many other diseases…
I never consider myself a warrior
Warriors coming out the closet
And letting the world know
I’m not a shame, my disease isn’t me..
Warriors are the ones,
Who keep moving when the
World has turn there back on us…
