When you the reason of
such bitterness

When you still playing the field.
Sweetie I see you
for who you are
he says I’m heartless
and mean.
I say
Thank You
I may be all that,
but I’m no fool
I’m heartless
he’s a playa
I don’t take no crap,
so who in the wrong?
When I’m standing
for what I believe.
I’m heartless,
but he’s a playa
I speak my mind,
he doesn’t like it
He calls me heartless
but I place my hand over
my heart.
Guess What
I heard.

Poets Afterthought 
Protecting your heart doesn’t mean you’re heartless. Playas don’t seem to get that.
