Fragile Heart: easily broken as or damaged, vulnerable delicate in appearance
Foolish: resulting from or showing a lack of sense, unwise. 2. Lacking forethought or caution.
You seem to keep going backwards & not forward.
You seem not to see whats good in front of you.
You pushing me away & you don’t know it.
You seem to want to do good, but your past
is keeping you from going forward.
Your Fragile Heart
Has been broken by the same person
over & over
And you wont let no other person have a
chance to mend what has been damage
I call it been FOOLISH at the same time
Fragile Heart
You seem to see the good in one
person & that keeps hurting you
I haven’t even known you that
long, but from what I can see,
you can give a woman much happiness.
You seem to not care what I say & that
hurts me the most.
Fragile Heart
I see the good in your pa.

I was supposed to share the poem the same day I wrote the new one. Check the link https://poeticjourney251.wordpress.com/2011/12/22/fragile-heart/ if you havent read it and you can be the judge of the one you like the most. Trying to do a little catch up with some of my post before the NEW YEAR & before classes starts back next week.
Wow I think they’re both good. This one has more that is said from the first. It seems this fragile heart has wondered into the realms of being in denial about the truth that lays before it. Ignores rationale and moves towards the tides of sweeping emotion. Cannot reason with what’s real since it runs towards the imaginary. A heart that has deceived itself and left blinded by fear of the reality that it’s love is one-sided. It chooses this path not knowing that pain is at the end of that tunnel. Hope can rescue it but it ignores the voice of the wise. it is but a shame.

Thank you for your comment Sherline, so true in deed that its ashame, but sometimes we have to go through the ordeal and learn on our own. Hardhead make a soft behind, so I was always told growing up. Sad to say I believe it to be true in deed. I like to see the difference between the new two poems, so many years apart and to see me grow with my poetry! 🙂

Morning Poetic
this was my Max Lucado Daily reading today:
Now we do not live
following our sinful selves,
but we live following the Spirit.
Romans 8:4
Perhaps your childhood memories bring more hurt than inspiration. The voices of your past cursed you, belittled you, ignored you. At the time, you thought such treatment was typical. Now you see it isn’t.
Now you find yourself trying to explain your past. Do you rise above the past and make a difference? Or do you remain controlled by the past and make excuses?
Think about this. Your parents may have given you genes, but God gives you grace. Your parents may be responsible for your body, but God has taken charge of your soul. You may get your looks from your mother, but you get eternity from your Father, your heavenly Father. God will give you what your family could never give you!

Actually I see how I have grown from the past to now. I choose not to let the past determine who I am right now. The past show us things about ourself, I may not have notice it back then, but now I do. My eyes have been open. Thank You for sharing the scripture and your feedback. It did make me think, how I have rise above it all. God Bless You 🙂
Didn’t see it like that, to you said something.

PJ, I didn’t disappear my sweet friend. I am catching up this morning, after being involved in some family time! Also, Autumn and I are both fighting colds with this crazy weather we are having in PA.

Did ya’ll get snow for Christmas? Make sure ya’ll stay warm and bundle up. I knew it had to be something when I didn’t see post from you two lovely ladies. Miss my daily reads from ya’ll, but do want you two all well. 🙂 Did you enjoy the family time?
