Update(Doctor Appointment)

I receive some good news, so I don’t have lupus and that’s real good to know. I’m not happy about how long t took my primary doctor to fax some information over that I needed to see the doctor. Last time I saw him was before Christmas I was back there and now have made it back to the waiting room, while waiting for them to get with it. Lets just say I wasn’t happy about how everything was going. Have you ever wonder why doctor office are always cold? Well I have, I would think it be warm since its hella cold outside. Sound like they trying to send me back to E.R, but hey that’s just me over thinking the situations. What do ya’ll think? I finally left, so hopefully I wont get a bill talking about my insurance wont cover it and I have to pay whatever crazy amount. I know for a fact I have to act a fool. Another plus side of the situation is that the doctor was nice looking man. 🙂 I had to share that little info! He gave me pamphlet about Lupus, I’m just glad I don’t have it. THANK GOD FOR AMAZING GOD WE SERVE. GOD IS TRULY GOOD ALL THE TIME. THANK EVERYONE WHO HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR ME! I never imagine my JOURNEY taking me through this, but I must say I’m so glad to have ya’ll as a support system. I don’t know what I would do without ya’ll!

2012, God, My Journey, Update

I like to say Thank for joining my JOURNEY(2011), and for sticking with me and been my support system when I needed it. A Blessing to me, when I truly thought I couldn’t deal with alone, sometimes we need help, even when we think we can handle it.

“THE JOURNEY IS THE REWARD” Saw the quote today while I was out with my mom, but not sure whose it by and wanted to share it with ya’ll, honestly I don’t think I have come across the quote before.

Also like to thank you all for the prayers for me, my family and friends. I do pray for each and every one of you. I heard from one friend her mother is doing much better and also says thank you for the prayers. GOD IS GOOD. I hope & pray each and every one of you made it into 2012 safe & sound! Many Blessings 🙂

I been reading my messages as they came in today, but couldn’t respond to them since for some odd reason my data wasnt working like I would like it. I have a lot of reading and catching up on. I actually had a good day. I got to see my cousin who has been gone for a long time. It was good to hear from her and to see her. I can’t wait to see how 2012 go for all of us. A post without a poem. I so can’t believe it. lol

~Prayers~

I just got text from a friend I have known for a few years now. We met on another site, another poet, and strong woman who has been there for me through a lot of stuff when I wanted to just go COLDHEARTED!

I was finna get up from my pc and do some cleaning with little lady. I have been wanting to do a post on Prayers for a while now.

Dear God

I come to you for my friend and her mother.

I know you already know whats going on

but I pray you watch over them.

So many people’s around me need

your touch, need to be healed or just

set free

I come to you whole heartily

Please watch over them,

I know if anything happen to her mother,

it may destroy her.

I pray she come to you

whole heartily, to serve you

and accept you.

Dear Lord

I prayed for Christmas Prayer

for another friend, and I hope they

doing okay.

I have always been told No News

is Good News.

I know in my heart if something was

wrong I would feel it.

I Thank You for sending so many

of your children in my life

who believes in praying

for one another, even strangers.

Dear God

Watch over them all during the

Holidays, protect them

and bring them out of

whatever they going through

Recovering/Information On Disease

I seem to be stuck with cold ever since I got out the hospital and can’t get rid of it for some odd reason. I never had this problem before getting over cold. The New year is almost here and have two new doctors to see coming up in a few weeks. One is for my headaches I was getting all the time. I don’t get them as much right now, which is a good thing. But after doing more searching about my disease and learning about why I could be having headaches everyday. I learn something that I didn’t know that it could be cause of a tumor. Since I’m the only one in my house hold with my illness, its good for me to study on it and learn as much as possible. You do know with seen the different doctors I do have, they never mention anything about me having tumors. I don’t know if that a good thing or bad thing, part of me make me think they don’t believe it could be that serious for me and then other is they probably know I can’t handle no more awful news. Also the other doctor appointment is about why I have so many antibodies in my body. Since its hard to find my blood type, I like to say thank you to each and every one of you whose been praying for me and still praying for me and who donates blood or know someone who does. Last time it didn’t take long to find my blood type. I was so happy! I was just in the hospital that long because of a slow ignorant doctor. Seem like he don’t know how to talk to a lot of people’s, and think people s have to take his lip and attitude. Thats a negative! Hey my mouth is working process. I had a good Christmas, wasn’t down in my body or stuck in hospital, did have a doctor appointment before Christmas. It went sorta good and sorta not. Yay for getting took off one medicine and boo for getting put on a new one that suppose to be better for my headaches. If you don’t take medication on every day basic, you or truly bless, and don’t ever take it for granted. If some had read up on my disease because I havent made it back to do all that good stuff. That post should be up sometimes this week. Different ones with my disease can take the medicine to help them have less crisis, but to be honest I never really needed it before I got put on it when I was younger and it didn’t;t agree with me. I almost died in 06, so that’s when I got introduce hydroxyurea. I usually take Folic Acid, that been working for me every sense well shoo forever. Seem like I’m everywhere with my post today. I’m pretty sure more to come this week, hate to bore all of yall in one post. 🙂

I do love all my followers, you have truly been a BLESSING to me on my JOURNEY, can’t wait to see how 2012 goes for us. Day 6, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

Good Mornin, today I got the news I can go home which Im happy about. I receive two unit of blood and brought my count upto 10.something! I wasnt feeling my best yesterday. Was in a lot of pain after receiving the blood, I have to say im feeling much better this mornin.
