Lastnight I heard from a friend

I have been praying for

I knew deep down in

my heart

her mother had lost

the fight

I was praying

she would have more time

when I finally got

a reply she told me

her mother had

pass away Friday!

My heart broke

God

Be with them,

through the

trying times

My heart cried

she touch my heart

when she said my(our) prayers

help a great deal

All I could do was cry

I can’t add anymore,very emotional but wanted to let you all know I’m so thankfully for all of your prayers, but do continue to pray for her family and many of them in the same situation as my friend. Or maybe be in that same situation soon. I love when we pray, because I don’t have to put no names in it when all of you lovely people pray for so many that in need. God Bless

So many or truly in need of prayers, we may not know who needs it, but as she pray anytime of the day do pray for them. Today I find out someone has receive bad news and they have 4 tumors, I have a few close friends whose grieving and of course Team Starla. This strong little lady has touch so many hearts, I’m just now hearing about her story. If you wondering I don’t really watch the news!  Even thought she was the one going through the ordeal. The amazing three-year old told her parents JUST TRUST! Here is the video, I actually read her updates on Facebook, she is talking a little bit. Just imagine a little child having this much TRUST in GOD and we grown people crumble. JUST TRUST, no matter what you going through in your life. God Bless. This story is so close to home, she is truly a FIGHTER!

Doctor Appointment

Good Afternoon,

and welcome to my JOURNEY, I know I mention in my Word to the Wise, that had doctor appointment. I’m here to let you know how it went. It went sort of good! YAY! I mention to him, that I’m ready to go for port, because hey your girl is getting tired of getting stick when it comes to things like that. So they or checking into information before I go in for it. I’m little nervous but it’s good I won’t feel it when the time comes, and  its a lot easy on my body. I have so many scars on my arms when it comes to sticking me. The doctor ask me do I believe I need transfusion, since it was still low. Tell me how come my doctor thinks its low when its 8,but the fools at the E.R don’t. That be another story  for another time. Well been home for a while actually waking up from a much needed nap. I got a call saying I need transfusion, its starting to drop once again.  I must say I’m hoping that since  I’m getting transfusion now, that I wont have to see inside hospital month coming up. I have to pray about it and wouldn’t mind if you all prayed as well. 🙂 So I have to go in later today so they can stick me once again. Sighs, I do pray and hope they have good luck finding a vein.  Since I was in the hospital a few weeks ago, someone stuck me in not so good place and have knot to show for it. If you new to joining my JOURNEY, I have Sickle Cell Anemia. They want to me to get the transfusion tomorrow, but I know for a fact that I’m not going to enjoy this.  I have to go through a lot before I can actually get the transfusion, that my only main problem right now. Sighs, moving on time to throw all my worries in my school work. I’ll shall keep you all posted on what happen when it happen. 🙂

I’m finally home and enjoying the comfort of my bed, have been here since I got home from the hospital. Been catching up on my assignments, since I really couldn’t do anything while been in the hospital. I have so many awards to respond to, and I’ll get around to them eventually. First thing first is to get caught up with my school work, I have a few more weeks with this semester and then I’m good to go for a few weeks. I should be done by this summer so I can graduate in the FALL. I finally fix my emails so once I’m done catching up with school I’ll get around to reading post and commenting and liking as well. I would say a week tops, but it could be more. I’m still not feeling my best, but I’m glad to be home, so I’m not going to complain. Must say it was real warm today when I left the hospital, the first day it have actually been warm. YAY! Extremely cold right now but I’m under the covers and my heater is on.

 

I have no thoughts for today or Love Journey post, well actually I do but haven’t really been motivated to actually get to typing and whatnot. But hopefully tomorrow I have it going again. I know I got to be leaving something out but I can’t think what it is right now, because I’m so sleepy and my bed is calling me. Like to thank each and every one of you who have prayed for me, left me message here,twitter,email. Really touch my heart and brought a smile to my face. HOPE EVERYONE HAVE A BLESS NIGHT! Day 5, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

Hello Everyone,

Time to share some news with ya’ll. As of last night I received new my count is going up. It’s not all that good, long as it’s not 7 something, I can totally dig it! lol! So I was told I could go home tomorrow! YAY! Its Morning, I have had my cup of coffee & bacon on the side! lol If you wondering if I had anything else on my tray, surely did. It was muffin, I didn’t touch it! Finally seen the doctor this morning, he ask me if I wanted to go home. UMMMMMM…… What kind of question is that? I said yes, if you wondering if I’m feeling my best. The question is NO, but I’m ready to be home. I know I’ll do what I need to do to prevent my immune system from getting attack again. The weather is no joke here. SPRING I NEED YOU! I’m just saying! 🙂 I can’t even tell you the last time I was in hospital that I didn’t have to get transfusion. So thank to everyone who has been praying for a speedy recovery. I have had so many great nurses, since I have been here. Can’t say the same for what they been trying to feed me. Not even going to go there right now!

Well got a little good news today. My account went up some,but still low,but if it keep going up. NO TRANFUSION! Yay! I have been in bed majority of the day getting some good sleep. Headache been kicking my butt:( Its cold and I wish Spring was already here for me. Havent seen the doctor yet today, not sure how I feel about that. I’m just glad it’s not the rude doctor from before. Yes, if you wondering if I complain about him too my doctors. the answer is yes! Guess I should get to doing a little homework while the pain is gone. Thank each and every one of you for praying for me, asking how im doing. your encouragement! God Bless

Day 2, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

I have been catching up on sleep,since I couldnt sleep lastnight! Right now im watching last episode One Life To Live, cant believe its not going to be on television. Rough nite, I be here over the weekend, got news my count drop to 7 something over the night! Major headache ever since 15 mins ago, the machine started beeping, so as you can see im up to the meds kick in so I cam relax! I have a lot of time to thibk, even got post for love journey,can you believe it? Cant do much posting since im right handed and guess where the evil iv at? So many wonderful nurses I have once again.Yep and not in good spot! Im so thankful for all the prayers,love! God Bless
