A mother

What’s a mother.

I may not be one yet, but I do know

What one is because what my mother shows me every day.

Trust we may not get along all the time.

But one thing for sure she never turns her back on her kids.

A mother

Prays for you

Teach you right from wrong

Love you

Be there for you no matter how bad you mess up.

A mother you say.

Visit here and there

Isn’t what make you a mom.

Saying I love you but not

Doing what you should for them

Yea they say you carry them

But are you raising them?

Are you showing them the correct way how to be a mother?

A mother huh?

Can you remember a time

You stayed up with them through

Night.

Maybe sitting at the kitchen table trying figure out a math problem.

A mother job is never done.

Walking out on your kid/kids

Because things got rough.

You were dedicated to the streets then

Your babies.

A mother

Isn’t you.

But hey I’m a sit back and watch

Things unfold.

A mothers love is

Unbreakable.

To be one.

You need to learn love like

No other.

Fight like it’s your last breath

Take that last mile

To show them

I love you.

Sleep

Why have you abandon me?
twisting and turning
Pain shoot thru me
Leave me wishing
For a pain free night
So I can sleep
Fluff my
Pillows
Move to foot
Of the bed
To see if it
Work
No justices
Take meds
Leave me weary
Sleep
Where have you
Gone?
No nap?
Sighs!
Homework
Went smoothly
Sleep deprived
Oh how I need
You
Please return

Day 4, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

Hello Everyone,

Time to share some of my day with you. Still in the hospital, have seen the doctor. I have finally saw the doctor and right now at 5 I’ll be getting my blood check and praying It still good or even better. I’ll let you all know how that goes. I’m ready to start feeling better so I can go home and enjoy the craziness of my family. Trying to do my homework but its hard with only one hand to use. I can’t use my right hand because of the I.V been in an uncomfortable spot for me. And I’m not trying to get stuck again. If things don’t go well with my blood count, then maybe I’ll have to get another I.V thats for another post! I have great nurse who I met years ago. It’s good to see a familiar face when you in unpleasant place. I actually miss doing some poetry, I have been thinking of a few pieces to write but havent had the strength to type, I wouldn’t dare write since I wouldn’t be able to understand.

before I end the post I would love TO THANK EACH & EVERYONE OF YOU FOR PRAYING, KEEPING ME IN YOUR THOUGHTS, AS WELL ENCOURAGEMENT! GOD BLESS EACH & EVERYONE OF YOU 🙂

GOD TRULY BLESS ME WITH EACH & EVERYONE OF YOU
