Laying In Bed

Laying In bed

tossing & turning

Trying to get right

Laying quietly in

my room

I heard babies crying,

while some are playing.

Poor littles one in pain

Pain so intense

I couldn’t sleep.

Praying just to get

some Zzzz’s

I.V in sore spot

driving me crazy

As my pain intense

so does the I.V

Laying in bed

Tossing & Turning

Thanking

GOD

for never leaving me!

Morning came

new nurses arrived

he showed me to never

lose FAITH

Laying in bed

oxygen on point

blood pressure

not looking so good

Tossing & Turning

praying to be able to

go home soon and

be pain-free

Dyin inside slowly…
weepin, lawd knows I never cried
like this over a man before…

So lets Forget the Pain…
I done shed my last tears of you…
I done stop my heart from lovin you..

Done remove you and threw
you out my life..
I done erase my feelings…

Forget the Pain…

Is like forgetn a part
of me…

That part of me, I never want to
feel again..
You broke my heart…

Last time I cried..
my tears froze cause of
my coldness..

I see myself moving on, but not
sensin the love around me..

Lastnight

Wasn’t suppose to happen.. I was suppose to walk away and leave it as that…
I’m glad I know now to b honest… but it doesn’t change anything..
I’m still walking away… and you still with her..
Lastnight
bought to many memories back… When we first met, the day we took it further as friends.. and the day you ask me to be your wife..
Even the day you broke my heart..
To the times I hurt you and you left the room… You know going our separate ways is for the best…
I hurt you.. You hurt me… You stay hurting me…
What A Night.. I’m mad to know I still love you But give me time.. Its going to be gone. . My soul is broken My heart is rip..
I can’t breathe I’m slowly dying. You said you don’t want to hurt anyone..
But hurt me every time I know where your heart really at and it’s not me..
Lastnight..
was suppose to happen.. slap some sense into me, and help me walk away.. with no regrets..
That night did something to me.. showed me my heart sill beats to you..
show me closing love out, hell its always there…
You push me away.. I haunt you, to you ready to accept and believe..

A Strong Woman?

She never complains

always doing what she got

to do, to take care of home

Going to Work

Getting an Education

to show their little ones

MOMMY may be doing it

alone

but to never give up

when seem like the

WORLD

is talking about you being

alone

I may be a single mother

but I’m doing what I

need to do to get by

Look into my Eyes

I been through

shows my pain,frustration

They hide so many things,

but not the intensity of

my pain, that sends me away

from my love ones

Look Into My Eye’s

What do you see?

The poem is inspired by my illness. With Sickle Cell Anemia, my eye’s or normally yellow, but when I’m feeling bad there turns a little more yellow. That is when I have to worry, and drink my liquid. Let me tell you feels like I’m drinking too much water. lol

I usually stress and worry about situation that I’m going through in my life. I plan on stop stressing and just take it to GOD. I always knew he could be the only person I could count on but I get in my panic mood and forget to take it to him. So this poem/song. I believe it would be more of a song than anything once I’m done with it. I plan on telling my story through my words. Such as songs/poetry and of course THE WORD OF GOD…. Do enjoy and let me know what you think of it, no not the finally copy just yet.I can see I have a lot of work to do on this one. lol!
