What about the Children

I’m getting tired of watching the news

As were losing so many innocent babies

to violent crimes

What about the Children

how many more have to die

before we wake up!

I count my Blessings every time

with my little one’s.

God Is Truly Good!

It’s time to wake up!

Grab hold of them and let them

know you love them.

We got to do better

too many innocent babies dying

What about the Children

I don’t care about the election

I can care less about

Whose running or not

I don’t care whose marriage going

down the drain

We need to be more focus on the little

ones of the WORLD

Throwing up my hands asking GOD

to protect them from harm

What about the Children

So many can’t have any and some of the

ones who can or harming them

Whats wrong with this WORLD

Their Blessings,

they didn’t ask to be here

What about the Children

Dying left and right,

young and old

Is JUSTICE, being done

for them?

What about the Children

Old and Young,

thats suffering with no way out

What Are We Going To Do?

  1. It’s so sad how the world misplaces priorities. We’ve got to love and cherish the children that God has blessed us with. We’ve got to value lives and be grateful for the blessings we’ve received. Thanks for sharing and bringing a lot to mind.

  2. Beautiful. I’m so saddened by the news myself. Just yesterday I read that a 2mo lost their life because they were left alone with a dog while the dad was asleep in the other room with the 3yo. It’s a shame.

  4. Very poignant message there PJ! Yes, I think as the human race we really need to get our priorities straight and start thinking about what matters! Children are defenseless, there’s nothing worse than seeing a child suffer.

  5. As president-elect of my local Kiwanis Club, I hold our international motto very close to my heart: “Changing the world, one child at a time.” We are TOTALLY dedicated to serving children everywhere, all the time. We hug up close and far afield! I am so inspired by your WIP poem here, “What About The Children?” I know it will speak most powerfully to many.

  6. The devil is alive and well. So many of our children fall victim to the violence that plagues our streets. But God prevails he wakes us each morning to praise his name and if our words touches one person that may be one baby that survives the hell on earth.

  7. PJ, I don’t think you could have written this any better! This tugged at my heart and I have often thought about everything you touched on through your words. It’s so sad how many aren’t able to conceive, while others are and the babies are born into a harmful environment. Thanks for bringing more awareness through this powerful poem, PJ, and lets pray things change for the better, soon, for the little ones of our world~ xo
