I know its been awhile since I posted in My Love Journey, Tonight I want to talk about social media when it comes to relationship status. I don’t know much about twitter and how it works. But I have been on Facebook for a few years now. When it comes to who you dating and how long and if you marry and how long. I don’t believe its serious to broadcast your business about whats going on to everyone. What I mean about that, well awhile back this young lady on my list made a status about not been happy with her boyfriend, he was upset because she choose to put it out for the world to see before coming to him about the situation. I’m not just saying only the young people or putting their business out. I have seen older folks do the same.I believe if you having problems in your relationship, you should take it up with your partner. You wonder why everyone is in your business, HELLO you putting it all out so everyone can know your business. So I like to know what you all think about the subject of the matter. I could go on and on about it. Its kinda annoying to hear people complain about different one’s in their business, but don’t think twice about what they doing.
I love to hear from my fellow followers, so do share your opinion/thoughts on this situation. I surely can’t wait to hear from ya’ll. If I have forgotten something, I make sure to comment to your question.

I so much agree with you, PJ 🙂 I used to be on both Twitter and FB, to me it’s just insane! People update “the world” about their business and they complain that people will say something. To me, I don’t understand why anyone would tell their relationship problems on either place!! It’s something to discuss in private, not tell the world 🙂 or in this case Twitter and FB world!

thank you for sharing your thoughts and opionon with me. I love what you had to say. I do have both, I just don’t know how to use twitter, still new at it and fb is for my games. Whatever happen to communication? Thats the main problem with relationships! God Bless 🙂

Autumn beat me to this one PJ, but she has been on both places. I never have, been on either place and honestly don’t ever intend to. I agree with what you and Autumn said about putting stuff out there for the world to see and read. It is pretty strange to do, I think they should ask the boyfriend/girlfriend or whoever the things they are troubled about, too. What is it about some people that want their personal stuff to be so known about anyway? It’s kind of tacky and just so not normal to do that, maybe these people really like the attention of it all? I just had a laugh to myself how Dave would be going on about bizarre and wacky it all is in the world of facebook and twitter. He always had plenty to say about people in his family (Brothers, sister and his mother) letting all of us know about their personal stuff. It was usually the kind of thing soap operas are made of, too. I hear tell they are all Very Busy on facebook! They still are like that, but I try and stay out of it for my own sanity!

You know Gabby, I must admit I shake my head when I see them putting it all out there for everyone to see. I believe you right, they do it for the attention. Why complain about your business for the WORLD to see. The things I have read I have to laugh about it and wonder why! Maybe I should’ve mention how we let the world know whats going on even if we dont have someone in our life. Makes me wonder whats the point of you cuddling alone, sounds like a cry of desperation. Idk I suppose I could say a lot on this topic. I agree with you on it been tacky. I’m glad it brought a memory of your love Dave. God Bless 🙂

I understand what you mean. I’m on the same page with that. People should understand that even though we go through storms in a relationship, we don’t need to add fuel to the fire by make it a reality tv show and let the whole world join in on the storm. That complicates things even further and I think that it isn’t a wise thing if you want to repair the relationship. Everything Good bad and the ugly should be kept on lock down. The only person who needs to know your business is God and if necessary a relationship counselor in a therapy session. That’s just my 2 cents.

PJ, I agree with everyone! I have no idea how twitter works and don’t intend to tweet in the future. I do have a fb, only because when my kids wanted one, that was our stipulation. They would be friends with one of their parents. Since my hubby “hates” fb, I was tagged. It’s fun sometimes, but definitely not the place to post relationship problems. Old fashioned talking, face to face, is still important, in my opinion. Communication is the big key, and truly, with all the technology, people are communicating less, even though “they” think it’s more communicating…I do have a poetry fb page, but that is for my poems and quotes. Anyway, long answer! 🙂
