Forgiving

I’m on a journey to learn to forgive and forget. It’s a battle within myself. I know if I forgive it would be so much better right now. Sometimes when someone takes you through so much, it makes you go cold all over. If I can’t forgive I’m not doing right by GOD.

Forgive

I’m trying to forgive you

I’m trying to let go and

Move on.

So much animosity

In my hear towards you

Is not settling right

How can I forgive?

And accept you in

My heart once again

Forgiving and letting

The past be the past

I guess you haven’t forgave

Yourself, since you still

Stuck in your selfish ways

Learning to Forgive

So I can be right

With myself and God

Forgiving and Forgetting

Is a journey in itself?

I have struggle a few times

And overcome it as well

I’m taking the anger out my

Heart and replacing it

With love of forgiveness

In the book of Matthew 18:21-22

Then came Peter to him and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee. Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.

No matter how many times they let you down we got to forgive them. reading this I see I have a lot to work on. I know with God help I will learn to forgive. God Bless 🙂

  1. Forgiveness is a journey PJ. Sometimes it’s instant for some people and sometimes is a long drawn out bumpy road. But when you seek GOD with all your heart for healing, you will reach the final destination and He (Jesus) will take your bags of hurt, resentment, pain, bitterness and sadness and will give you a ride in His car called “FREEDOM”. Whom the Son sets Free is FREE Indeed (John 8:36),

      1. The greater part of my life revolved around learning to forgive because i could carry a grudge like it was a cup of tea. But i realized something in life forgiving someone is letting love cover all sin. If forgiveness is mutual we could work on our relationship again but if i am the only interested party i usually forgive and go my way in peace. but it is so achievable

  2. Keep letting go and let God. You are doing the right thing as Christ would want you to do. It doesn’t mean that it will be easy but the more you submit to His will, the easier it will be to rest in the love of our mighty Savior. Leave your woes at His feet. You can only work on you and pray for others you can’t change. That job belongs to the Lord. As you grow more in Christ, your beacon of light will shine more and more. Be that walking example of Christ-like love and forgiveness. Do it with intentions of pleasing the Lord and no one else. May your walk stop others in their tracks to wonder what is going on with you. And you’ll tell them ” Its no one but Jesus “. ( those may not be your words at all but at least you will give credit where credit is due. 🙂 )

Bless you on your journey. I will be praying that you get better soon as I have read about your Sickle Cell Amenia. Use this time of rest being stuck in the bed to glorify the Lord as you reflect. I’m sure the love of Jesus can be shared with someone in the hospital even if it’s the cleaning lady. You never know.

    God bless you!
