Day 1-3, Living With Sickle Cell Anemia

I know I mention to you all I wasn’t feeling my best Tuesday.  I woke up Wednesday morning in terrieble pain and ended up going to er later that day. My blood count drop so I’m in need of transfusion. I’m thankful to have some wonderful nurses taking care of me while bn here. Can’t say the same about my doctor, naw I’m playing his a cool guy. Wouldn’t trade him, I’m so ready for the 28 to get here so  I can see the Sickle Cell Specialist. I’m thankful for all the prayers from each and everyone of you, it truly means a lot to me. I’m still not feeling my best, but will do my best to keep you all inform on whats going on with me. Hopefully next time I have more to share with you all! God Bless 🙂

  1. I’m sorry that you’re back in, but I am happy that you have a team of very special and helpful people to help you thorugh this. Too many times I’ve read about how the hospital nurses and doctors were not very helpful. I’m still keep uou in my prayers everyday. Wishing for a speedy recovery.

  2. Oh PJ, I am sorry to hear you are in the hospital. I am praying for you to be out of there and back home with your family very soon! Also, I am anxious for the 28th and for you to see the sickle cell dr. Please forgive me for not being here sooner, I know you talked to Autumn about where I was. I was having some minor surgery on Wednesday the 13th and I’m now resting up and healing. OMG but those pain meds sure did surprise me, I know they are supposed to help but they sure slowed me right down. I know you have to deal with the pain meds and all PJ, so I truly do know you get it. Just wanted to write a few lines, let you know I’m thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers! Hugs and Love and a Smile your way. 🙂
