Addiction

Took her away from her
babies

They ate at her til she
came back full-time

His Anger
destroyed her

While his love
destroyed her will power

He use her
for his own purpose

Addiction

The drugs drove her away
from her family

How can you turn your back
on your babies

When she look just like you
when you had your looks.

The drugs change her

His frustration drove her
to walk out on him
and filled his heart
with rage and hate

Addiction

Destroyed him while
Their Addiction
saved their life

To give them a safe place
to live, and much love
to heal them

Addiction

destroyed a family.
A love healed the babies

Good Morning!! Are you running on “E”(Empty)? Do you feel as if you can’t go on? Take the TIME TODAY and GET IN GOD’ S PRESENCE…HE CAN/WILL FILL U WITH MORE OF HIM…NO LIMITS!!!

 

NO LIMITS!! to what GOD can do for you. You may have the weight of the world on your shoulders and just don’t feel like moving. Lets GET IN GOD’S PRESENCE. Without him, where would we be.  Sometime we want to run and hide when things aren’t going our way but his always there with you. Thank You GOD! Hope Everyone Have A Bless Day!

Awareness

Am I wrong for wanting more Awareness for Sickle Cell Disease? I was recently talking to someone about my illness and she was like I didn’t know you had it and that she didn’t know much about it but wanted to know more about it. How can I spread the word about it and not get to emotional about not having much Awareness for my disease? I want to be Advocate, to be one that mean I would have to open up more about who I Am, and How I am living and dealing with it for over 20years? I didn’t know about we had a month of Awareness, to have a month but not really hear much about it bothers me. But someone had told me they heard about it and saw a few things as well.

To live everyday and to be in pain a majority of your life sometimes getting to the point and just being  unbearable. I smile on days I wanted to cry and just wish I wasn’t here anymore, but I knew it wasn’t my time to go yet. I know I haven’t blog much about my illness. I have been doing research on it for my English paper, so I have been learning new stuff each and every day. When I decide to spread more word on the issue I don’t want people  thinking I don’t know what I’m talking about. I know I haven’t made it back to explaining what it is yet.

You’ll see more on these topic of Awareness, it’s time for a change and I’m on my way of making it happen in due time. Right now days have been hard due to  my headaches getting the best of me at times.

Strength(Inspiration)

I know the beginning of the week I mention my word of the Week would be STRENGTH!  My inspiration today is my niece. You may be wondering why I pick her to be my inspiration. Well when she was born she couldn’t see out her left eye, well she still can’t really see but you would never know by looking at her and has so much energy to spare. She had two surgeries before she was a yr. old. She has to wear glasses most of the time, but let’s go back to when she was smaller she could pick up the smallest thing on the floor, while not being able to use her right eye.

 

 

 

STRENGTH

This little girl amazes me,

So tough and strong.

She’s a CHARACTER

A FIGHTER

The STRENGTH she has

She doesn’t let anything get her down

She can run you up the wall

So much courage

In her little body.

Her stamina can be compared

To a generator, she just keeps going

Her love is just  as Strong

as her HEART
