Lost Child

Mother
Mother
You have left
And I feel alone
I come to the grave
With regret and blame
In my heart
I coulda been a better
Daughter
Shoulda did right by
You
I know you gone
But here I feel so
Close to you
Mother
Mother
I wasnt ready for you
To leave

I blog for many reasons, the love of writing, to inspire and touch someone life. No matter what I'm going through in my life. It's a get away when my SC becomes to much for me to handle. I love to get carry away in MY WORLD! I'm on a JOURNEY to discover myself. God Bless! :)

  1. Bless you for this heart-felt poem of daughterly love and respect. I have been feeling especially close to my own mother (who passed in April of 2000) in the lead up to Christmas, especially as I write every day! She is smiling and nodding at me in encouragement!
