Word to the Wise (Spiritual Word Of The Day)

“Be self-controlled and alert”(1Peter5:8). Being “self-controlled” implies staying in charge of your emotions, thoughts, words, decisions and actions. It requires taking RESPONSIBILITY for your own life: not allowing people, circumstances, or the devil to take the steering wheel from your hands, usurp your power of attorney and gain control. Being “alert” means conscious of your weaknesses and Satan’s corresponding ploys. You can’t afford to coast, run on autopilot or go with the flow. Being Alert exposes satan’s well-laid strategies, enabling you to Stop him dead in his tracks. #deputizedtomaximize

Word to the Wise (Spiritual Word Of The Day)

When God makes you wait for something longer than you want to, He’s teaching you Patience. Your emotions are like a wild horse- they need to be reined in. Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised (Heb10:36). In DUE season we shall reap (Gal6:9). DUE Season is God’s season,ย  not yours.

*Patience is something I truly need to work on, so it came at the right time….

Good Morning, I hope Everyone Is Having A Bless Morning and continues to have A Bless & Glorious Day! God Is Truly Good! I hope this lovely message touch someone heart as much as it touch mines…. God Bless ๐Ÿ™‚

Word to the Wise (Spiritual Word Of The Day)

When you are tempted, He will…provide a way out. 1Cor10:13. Temptation brings with it feelings of guilt. As a result we get discouraged and think, if I were a better Christian I wouldn’t have such thoughts. I’ve prayed, over and over. Why doesn’t God just take it away? Temptation never goes away! Prayer doesn’t remove it, prayer drives you closer to God and He gives you power over it. Submit yourselves then to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James4:7). The bible says, The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience.ย  And God is faithful.ย  He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand…God will show you a way out so…you can endure (ICor10:13). When you’re tempted you never have to wonder what is the right thing to do. God makes His will clear in scriptures and He’s given us His Spirit to convict,ย  guide and empower us. Plus, we can approach the throne of Grace with confidence…and find grace to help us in our time of need (Heb4:16). Richard Blackaby writes: Its a mistake not to take temptation seriously. Many who’ve succumbed thought they were strong enough to resist….When wickedness surrounds you, never assume you’re immune. ..remove yourself from temptations way…Put away the evil from among you (Deut22:21). Keep any form of temptation out of your home, your relationships and your mind by maintaining your love relationship with God and recognizing you’re powerless to resist in your own strength. When Joseph was tempted to commit adultery he fled (Gen39:12). Darkness and light can’t co-exist. Run from the darkness to the light.

Son…all that I have is yours(Lk15:31). In the parable of the prodigal son Jesus is talking to two different groups: regular people and religious leaders who complain that Jesus receives sinners(Lk15:2). We all know the story. The prodigal son blew it and ended up in a pigpen. Later, when he returned home his father threw a big party. But his older brother wouldn’t attend. Here was his reason: these many years I have been serving you….yet you never gave me a young goat that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots you killed the fatted calf for him. And(his father) said to him, Son…all that I have is yours(Lk15:29-31). Its the kind of thing you hear in church from people who lift themselves up by putting others down. Both sons spent time in the pigpen: one in the pigpen of rebellion, the other in the pigpen of resentment. One came home to a welcome, the other stayed home and wallowed in self righteousness. Because of his judmentalism, the other son ended up losing more than the younger one: He forfeited the joy of knowing how much he was loved by his father. As the oldest son he has entitled to twice as much of his father’s estate, yet he wasn’t able to enjoy a moment of it. His younger brother was lost and hurting. What an opportunity to forgive, show grace help to restore him and have a life enriching relationship with him. But he forfeited it all because he was judgmental. Don’t be an older brother! #deputizedtomaximize

TURN YOUR WEAKNESS INTO A WEAPON. Paul learned how to turn his weakness into a weapon by allowing it to drive him closer to God. And that’s a lesson you and I must learn too. You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With LESS of you there is more of God and His rule(Mat5:3). Now, you can’t just accept your character flaws and areas of defeat and say, Well, I guess that’s just the way I …am. No, you must confront each area of weakness, confess it and “let Christ take over. You will always struggle with one thing or another. Paul recognized this: We carry this precious Message around in the unadorned clay pots of our ordinary lives. That’s to prevent anyone from confusing God’s incomparable power with us(2Cor4:7). Like common pottery, fragile flawed and easily broken, God will use you as you surrender and allow Him to work through you. #deputizedtomaximize.

Word to the Wise (Spiritual Word Of The Day)

You are precious to me(Isaiah43:4). If you are struggling with feelings of unworthiness, praying longer, working harder and vowing to do better won’t necessarily change how you feel. Like remodeling an old house with a cracked foundation, you can redecorate every room but the floors and ceilings will just keep sagging until eventually it collapses. You’ve got to address the foundation! To do that,…you must begin seeing yourself as God sees you; only then will you experience the stability and security you seek. Have you any idea how God feels about you? He sees you as: Loveable. You are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. What assurance! The Bible says, The one the Lordย  loves rests between his shoulders(Deut33:12). What a secure position to be in. Your Valuable. If you grew up feeling unwanted, you got the wrong message. God established your worth at the cross. The Son of God, who loved you and gave himself for you.(Gal2:20). You are Capable. Without a supportive environment to grow up in, you can end up with a finished sense of ability. Its why we compensate by overachieving. But God knows that you are capable because He’s given….you special abilities(IPeter4:10). So stay in your seat and don’t let anybody tell you that your life doesn’t matter. IT DOES, BECAUSE GOD SAYS SO. NO LIMITS! #deputizedtomaximize.

Word to the Wise (Spiritual Word Of The Day)

The Bible says, Satan works day and night building a case against you(Rev12:10). But with Gods word in your mouth and….heart(Rom10:8), you can overcome him. When satan says give up, God says stay the course. When satan tells you to look out for number one, God says put the other person first(phil2:3-4). When satan says its ok to hold grudges, God says forgive as often as it takes. When satan says get even, God says be a peacemaker. When satan tells you to take all the credit, God says glorify Jesus. When satan says clean up the outside and people won’t notice the inside, God says He looks at your heart. When Satan says you’re ugly, God says you’re wonderfully made. You’re here for a reason. Bottom line: God has a plan for your life; otherwise you wouldn’t be here! #deputizedtomaximize.

Maximize Moment: The moment you act your faith springs to life, inviting God to move on your behalf. Today He’s waiting for you to act so that He can respond to you. Even if you don’t feel like it, ask yourself. What would my first step of faith be if I really felt like taking action? Do it! You’ll be walking by faith and reaping the rewards!(Heb11:6) NO LIMITS!!!!
